Salt…taste, preserve, essential mineral. Salt changes the taste of any food. Just as we should be aiming to preserve and change the world for the better. Salt gives the sea its characteristics. It connects us all in a unique way. The ocean represents traveling to exotic foreign lands.
I was raised that we should all aim to be the salt of the earth. Tying something so vast and beautiful like the ocean with the token of grace, passion, and beauty of it became the perfect contrast that embodied everything I stood for.
